Through a crowdsourcing effort with community scientists and students, the Hudson River Field Station has been collecting biological and water chemistry data since 2003. Since the renovation of the Field Station in 2019, we have been able to increase our sampling efforts to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamic water chemistry and biodiversity of the Hudson waters off of Piermont Pier. In 2021,through the Next Generation of Hudson River Educators Program, we collected additional biological and water chemistry data at Emeline Park in Haverstraw.
