Working with Companies – from Technology Commercialization to Research Collaborations and Beyond
Dovina Qu and Gwen Nero from Columbia Technology Ventures (CTV) will provide an overview of resources available to the Climate School that facilitate working with companies. This will include an explainer of intellectual property, strategies for working with companies to commercialize your innovations, and resources to help you launch your next startup. They will share a selection of successful examples out of the Climate School including data licensing, startup, and industry training examples.
This 1 hour presentation + Q&A will be followed by co-working time for researchers to work on upcoming proposals.
Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
