Kimberly A. Truong, Ph.D. has over 20 years of experience advancing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion as a strategist and leader in education. Currently, she serves as Chief Equity Officer at MGH Institute of Health Professions, a graduate school within the Mass General Brigham system. Dr. Truong has taught Critical Race Theory at the Harvard Graduate School of Education for the past 12 years. She is founder and principal at XEM Consulting Services, LLC.

In this talk, Dr. Kimberly A. Truong will give an overview of her experiences navigating education and how that led her to pursue her research interests. We will have a deep dive into Dr. Truong’s research on the racialized experiences of graduate students of color and discuss implications for policy and practice in graduate education.
