Teacher & Educator Workshops

In preparation for the 2026 Day in the Life sampling event October 6th, 2026 we are holding two field focused workshops so our teachers and educators can learn, prepare and refresh their skills and a Master's Workshop on Electrofishing: What can it tell us about our watershed? All our workshops are free but please keep in mind that workshop space is limited so be sure to sign up in advance and let us know if plans change and you will not be attending so that we can plan accordingly.

2026 IN-PERSON HUDSON RIVER ESTUARY FIELD TRAINING: Join us for one of our in person training sessions to learn and review the various parameters we measure, data collection techniques, and learn tips and tricks for how to make your field experience with students go smoothy. These workshops are an opportunity to ask questions of ‘experts’, seasoned teacher participants and learn from each other!
