Teacher & Educator Workshops
In preparation for the 2025 Day in the Life sampling event October 15th, 2025 we are holding a field focused workshop so our teachers and educators can prepare and refresh and a Master's Workshop on Developing Data Users: Using Hudson River Data in your Classroom with a special focus on tour amazing real time monitoring network called Hudson River Environmental Conditions Observing Stations (HRECOS). Workshops are free but please keep in mind that workshop space is limited so be sure to sign up in advance and let us know if your plans change and you will not be attending so that we can offer your spot to someone else.
2025 IN-PERSON HUDSON RIVER ESTUARY FIELD TRAINING: Join us for one of our in person sessions to learn and review the various parameters we measure, data collection techniques, and ideas on how to make your day out in the field with students go smoothy. These workshops are an opportunity to ask questions of the ‘experts’, seasoned teacher particpants and each other!

- September 20th, 2025 Saturday 9:30 am-3:00 pm, at the Center for the Urban River at Beczak, Sarah Lawrence College (CURB), 35 Alexander St, Yonkers, NY 1070. Please note that participants at this workshop are eligible to received free CTLE credits through arrangement with CURB and Sarah Lawrence College.
