I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, working with Prof. Mingfang Ting. My research focuses on climate dynamics and predictability, particularly the mechanisms underlying subseasonal-to-seasonal climate variability and regional temperature changes. My previous research has focused on the subseasonal evolution and predictability of East Asian winter temperatures, including the roles of large-scale atmospheric circulation, air–sea interaction, Arctic sea ice, and snow cover. I have also investigated large-scale atmospheric teleconnections and stratosphere–troposphere coupling and their impacts on Northern Hemisphere climate variability. My recent research extends these interests to North American climate variability and predictability, with a particular focus on the roles of tropical SST variability and midlatitude atmospheric circulation. I received my Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from Fudan University in 2024 and subsequently worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Fudan University before joining LDEO in 2025.
