Hannah Mark

I am a marine geophysicist interested in mantle dynamics, oceanic lithosphere, intraplate volcanism, and plate boundary processes. The big question driving much of my research is: how do tectonic plates form and evolve over geologic time? To answer (parts of) this question, I use marine seismic, gravity, and bathymetry data to study structure from the seafloor down through the Earth's upper mantle.
