Join us on Piermont Pier to celebrate the importance of a resilient and equitably shared waterfront through a series of fun and educational activities. Participants will get a chance to seine in a wadable section of the Hudson off the pier, help us to identify the species caught, create fish prints of Hudson River species, and gain an understanding of how sea-level rise will impact local communities. This free, family-friendly event is from 11:00 am- 3:00 pm and is part of a larger region-wide day organized by Waterfront Alliance and New York–New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program (HEP), to champion a climate-resilient New York and New Jersey Harbor.
