Daniel A Bader

Daniel Bader is a Program Manager at Columbia University’s Center for Climate Systems Research (CCSR). His primary responsibility is managing the Consortium for Climate Risk in the Urban Northeast (CCRUN), a NOAA RISA Project. He has extensive experience with preparing and communicating climate science information to policy makers, specifically in states across the Northeast. In this role, he leads the climate science work of the Climate and Urban Systems Partnership (CUSP), an education product focused on connected personal interests to climate science across urban learning networks. Prior to managing CCRUN, he was a research analyst at CCSR, tasked with developing climate scenarios to be used for adaptation planning. The data he has worked with is the foundation for climate resiliency planning efforts in New York City (through the New York City Panel on Climate Change), New York State, and across the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science from Cornell and Masters in Climate and Society from Columbia.
