Leonard Ohenhen

Coastal environmental security expert with experience in satellite remote sensing and geospatial data analytics. I am currently a postdoctoral research scientist at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University with research focused on understanding and predicting coastal vulnerability. I specialize in large scale land subsidence mapping using 3D inversion combining InSAR and GNSS datasets, modeling and projections of relative sea level rise, and compound hazards related to coastal flooding.

My research interests also include sustainable development with a focus on urban infrastructure resilience, sustainable groundwater exploration, and environmental remediation of hydrocarbon.
