Jessica Santos Rego

Jessica Santos Rego has a PhD in Physics from University of Campinas (2022). She is researching mineral-fluid interface properties for geological carbon storage at the Research Center for Greenhouse Gas Innovation (RCGI) in Brazil. She has expertise in Condensed Matter Physics, specializing in materials' electronic, thermal, and mechanical properties using atomistic simulations.

As a visiting researcher at LDEO, she researches the thermoelastic properties of geologically significant silica phases and their correlation with seismic measurements.
